PrivatBank gave advice to owners of old payment cards.
During the martial law in Ukraine, the validity of all plastic cards is automatically extended.
All cards in PrivatBank have no restrictions for paying for purchases, services, and withdrawing cash.
Clients can use cards with expired validity, but may encounter situations where they are not accepted for payment. PrivatBank recommends reissuing the card in such a case. This can be done at any bank branch or online with delivery across Ukraine or abroad. When reissuing, only the card number changes, and the account remains the same, so the balance will be automatically available on the new card.
If funds are received on a card with an expired validity, they will be credited, as reissuing the card does not change the account number. However, if a new account is opened, the funds will be credited to the old card.
For clients who cannot reissue the card, it is recommended to issue a Digital card in the "Privat24" system. It allows for online payments, purchases, and cash withdrawals at PrivatBank ATMs.
Let us remind you how to order a PrivatBank card with free delivery via Nova Poshta.
