Housing Compensation Program: 1500 IDP Families Received State Support.
1500 families received compensation for lost housing through the eRestoration program
With the help of housing certificates from the eRestoration program, 1500 families affected by this situation received compensation for lost housing, stated Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
'Our goal is to help IDPs settle in new communities and meet all essential needs. At the forefront is housing for our people,' emphasized Denys Shmyhal.
Ukraine has several state programs to support internally displaced persons. One of these programs is eOselya, which provides the opportunity to purchase housing using eRestoration certificates. The first Ukrainians have already used this mechanism and become property owners.
Additionally, the government provides subsidies for housing rentals for IDPs and ensures accommodation. According to the Prime Minister, since the beginning of the year, about 1.2 million people have received payments totaling over 5.3 billion UAH.
