Offered to avoid mobilization for 12 thousand dollars: law enforcement uncovered an Odessa resident.
Investigators and police officers of the Odessa District Police Department No. 1, together with the prosecutor's office, uncovered a scheme of enrichment related to avoiding mobilization. The perpetrator spread information about resolving issues of avoiding mobilization among his acquaintances. He promised to influence officials in the military medical commission and other bodies to make a decision to remove a person from military registration due to health reasons. The perpetrator also demanded monetary compensation for his services.
The suspect was detained when he received unlawful benefits. A preventive measure in the form of detention with the possibility of posting bail was chosen for him. The identities of those who used the perpetrator's services and possible accomplices will be established. He faces up to eight years of imprisonment with confiscation of property for this.
