The prime minister's advisor spoke about how much time is needed to end the power outages.
The situation with electricity supply is improving, but it will take Time to completely abandon the schedule of outages, said the prime minister's energy advisor Yuriy Boyko. He noted that the Odesa region has the most damage, but about 60% of consumers there already have power. Energy workers are working in three shifts to quickly carry out the necessary repairs. The outage schedules will be significantly reduced in a few days, but it will take a long time to completely abandon them.
We expect to significantly improve the situation with the schedules in a few days. If we talk about completely abandoning them, I am afraid that for such a forecast, we need not days but weeks – the prime minister's advisor on energy Yuriy Boyko. pic.twitter.com/qvrU6wPPee
Let us remind you that repair work on the Ukrainian energy system continues after the Russian attacks. As a result, about 220 thousand subscribers in Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk regions remain without electricity. All regions of Ukraine have restrictions on electricity consumption, which begin at 6:00 AM. Russian occupying forces have attacked and targeted Ukrainian energy facilities, resulting in reduced electrical capacity at the country's nuclear power plants.
