Russian rocket strike on Zaporizhzhia: fatalities and injuries
According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, the number of dead as a result of the Russian rocket strike on Zaporizhzhia on November 5 has increased to 7 people, and 25 people were injured. The statement says "7 people were killed, 25 injured as a result of the RF missile attack on Zaporizhzhia".
Throughout the day, the occupiers carried out 301 strikes on 13 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region. 8 air strikes were carried out on Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, Novodarivka, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, and Temyrivka. 154 UAVs of various modifications attacked Lobkove, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohirya, and Olhivske. There were also 4 MLRS shellings on the territory of Lobkove and Novodanylivka. The most artillery strikes (134) were on Lobkove, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohirya, and Olhivske.
In total, 8 reports of destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure objects were recorded. Previously, there was a report of a Russian shelling of an infrastructure object in Zaporizhzhia.
Moreover, due to the night Russian shelling of Kharkiv, two women were injured. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a missile hit a forest strip, but windows were partially broken in three surrounding multi-story buildings and the facade of one house was damaged. As a result, two women suffered cuts from glass shards and have an acute stress reaction. In the Kyivskyi district, a strike on the open area was also registered, but several private homes were damaged.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting at the Supreme Commander's Headquarters, during which special attention was paid to strengthening air defense, producing domestic weapons, and utilizing long-range drones.
