Morning Attack on Kherson: Casualties and Many Injured.

Occupiers' Attack in Kherson: 10 Injured and 2 Dead

According to the head of the Kherson City Military Administration Roman Mrochko, the morning attack by the occupiers in Kherson resulted in 10 injuries, of which 2 people died.

One of the injured is a 55-year-old woman from the Central District of Kherson, who sustained mine-blast and cranial injuries, as well as shrapnel wounds to her leg. Her examination is still ongoing.

Information was also received about the injury of another person. An 86-year-old man was hospitalized with a concussion, cranial injury, and shrapnel wounds.

A 42-year-old man was also taken to the hospital with a concussion and mine-blast injury.

«Unfortunately, while in a building, a 60-year-old man sustained injuries incompatible with life. My condolences to the deceased's relatives,» Mrochko reported.

Mrochko also reported that due to the mass shelling of the city of Kherson, the CNAP is not operational.

«We are doing everything to promptly eliminate the consequences of Russian terror. We plan to restore the CNAP's work next week,» Mrochko added.

At 11:10, information was received about the second person killed as a result of the attack.

«In the Central District, a 75-year-old man sustained injuries incompatible with life,» Mrochko reported.

At 12:30, it was reported that local authorities received over 30 requests to close more than 700 windows and restore damaged roofs due to shelling of apartment buildings, dormitories, educational and medical institutions, and administrative buildings. Municipal enterprises of Kherson, including Kherson Parks, City Road Administration, and Kherson Water Supply, deployed more than 20 units of equipment. About 60 employees are clearing the territory at more than 15 locations. The Kherson City Light team is eliminating the consequences of the blasts at 16 locations.

Earlier, information appeared in local Telegram channels about the occupiers' intentions to attack Kherson. Later, the head of the local regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported that diversion-reconnaissance groups were indeed trying to advance into the city. The occupiers massively shelled the city and its suburbs from the left bank. Residential quarters and social infrastructure came under fire, and foreign citizens were also affected.
