Rescuers detonated by a mine while extinguishing a fire in Kharkiv region: details of the incident.
According to the State Emergency Service, during the firefighting operation in the territory of the Petrivsk Forest District in the Izium region, rescuers were injured by an explosion. It is preliminarily known that the rescuers' vehicle hit an anti-tank mine. The incident resulted in injuries to the driver of the vehicle.
Fire situation
According to inkorr.com: Currently, the area of the fire is approximately 23 hectares. The fire has engulfed the coniferous underbrush. To extinguish the fire, 30 rescuers, 10 units of SES equipment, and 10 forestry workers with six of their own vehicles have been involved. A team of SES pyrotechnicians is also working at the scene.
