Record amount: when Ukrainians will receive the accumulated national cashback.
The Ministry of Economy has reported that during the operation of the National Cashback program, Ukrainians have accumulated a record amount - 1 billion hryvnias. Of this amount, 400 million hryvnias have already been transferred to citizens' cards. 4.7 million people are participating in the program, the majority of whom are women. The program involves 20 banking institutions and over 1672 manufacturers, with buyers able to receive cashback for over 355 thousand products made in Ukraine. According to the Minister of Economy, Yuliya Svyrydenko, the accumulated cashback for December 2024 amounts to 436 million hryvnias, which is three times higher than the previous three months. The program will be in effect until the end of 2025.
It is also worth noting that unemployment benefits and compensations to employers have increased in Ukraine.
