Traffic changes on the bridge over Desenka in Kyiv: details of the new regime.
Starting from August 14, traffic on the bridge over the Desenka River in Kyiv will be reversed due to repair work. The changes are being made in cooperation with the patrol police and involve varying lane distributions depending on the time of day.
This was reported by the Department of Transportation Infrastructure of the Kyiv City State Administration.
How the reversible traffic will work on the bridge over Desenka
From August 14, the bridge over the Desenka River in Kyiv will introduce reversible traffic in an experimental mode due to repair work, which significantly slows down transportation.
'In the morning, three lanes will operate from the left bank to the right bank, and one in the opposite direction. Approximately from 14:00 — three lanes to the left bank and one — to the right. On weekends, the distribution will be the same: two lanes in each direction,' the department noted.
According to the department staff, in the initial stages, the adherence to the new traffic regime will be monitored by patrol police crews. Drivers are urged to carefully observe traffic signs, follow traffic rules, and plan their trips considering the changes.
Hotel 'Salyut' declared bankrupt
It is recalled that the Economic Court of Kyiv declared PJSC 'Hotel 'Salyut' bankrupt due to debts amounting to UAH 5.4 billion. The building of the famous capital hotel is planned to be auctioned for sale.
