Zelensky: Russia is attacking from residential buildings in Belarus.
According to ТСН: Russian troops are using civilian infrastructure and residential areas in border zones of Belarus to launch attacks on Ukraine.
President's Comment
President Volodymyr Zelensky drew attention to this.
"The equipment used in attacks against Ukraine is located in populated areas of Belarus near the border, specifically in residential buildings," he noted.
Belarus's Use for Attacks
Earlier, Zelensky reported that Russian troops began using the territory of Belarus for kamikaze drone maneuvers, trying to bypass Ukrainian interception lines.
Analysis of Attacks
The president also emphasized that special attention was paid to recent attacks on Kovel during a recent meeting. The analysis showed that the enemy is trying to determine the location of Ukrainian air defense assets and find ways to bypass them.
The use of Belarus as a launchpad for Russian attacks on Ukraine raises serious concerns not only in Kyiv but also beyond the country's borders. This situation indicates strategic changes in warfare methods, where there is an attempt to bypass Ukrainian defenses by using civilian areas as shields. Monitoring the enemy's tactics is becoming an increasingly relevant task for Ukrainian defenders.
