According to inkorr.com: On the morning of August 31, Russian occupiers struck Chernihiv region using drones. This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration Vyacheslav Chaus.

According to the OVA, the enemy attacked a civilian critical infrastructure facility in Nizhyn district. More than 30 thousand households were left without electricity, as well as part of the city of Nizhyn. All necessary services are working to restore electricity supply. As of 10:30 AM, electricity supply to the city hospital and local water utility facilities has been restored. Work is ongoing.

It should be noted that during the night of August 31, the enemy also carried out massive attacks on the Odesa region using drones. The head of the Odesa OVA Oleg Kiper reported that the city of Chornomorsk and its surroundings were most affected. Private houses and administrative buildings were damaged, and in some places fires broke out, which were quickly extinguished by rescuers. There is information about one injured person.

Due to the ongoing attacks of Russian troops on the civilian population of Chernihiv and Odesa regions, people remain under threat to life and safety. The authorities are forced to mobilize all forces to eliminate the consequences of aggression.
