The Russian Federation has started using a new drone with artificial intelligence: details from the intelligence.
According to a report from
Glavkom, the Main Intelligence Directorate has revealed details about the new strike drone V2U with artificial intelligence, which is currently being actively used on the Sumy front.
Characteristics and Components of the Drone
This drone is known for its ability to autonomously search and select targets using an artificial intelligence system. Its computing system is based on the Leetop A203 mini-computer with an NVIDIA Jetson Orin processor.
One of the features of the V2U drone is the presence of only one GPS module, which may indicate a rejection of satellite navigation due to Ukrainian electronic warfare systems. Likely, the drone uses navigation through 'computer vision', compared to photographs of the area.
Additionally, there is a possibility of controlling it via LTE connection in FPV format using the Microdrive Tandem-4GS-oem11 modem-router, which works with a SIM card of a Ukrainian operator, which, despite its origin, is manufactured on Chinese equipment.
The Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate has introduced the new strike drone V2U with artificial intelligence, distinguished by its high autonomy and high-precision navigation system. It is already actively used on the Sumy front, enhancing the effectiveness of national security management.
