Russians struck Sumschyna with two drones: what is known about the consequences.
The Russian army struck Sumschyna during the night of August 19. The attackers bombarded the Pyshchansky starostate of the Sumy community. The acting city mayor, Artyom Kobzar, reported on the consequences of this shelling.
On the night of August 19, Russian troops launched two strikes on the territory of the Pyshchansky starostate. The first explosion occurred at around 10:30 PM when the enemy attacked with a 'Shahed', damaging 34 windows and the roof of the building. Later, another drone strike of the 'Molniya' type was recorded, causing additional damage to six windows and the doors. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Furthermore, on the night of August 18, there was a massive shelling of the city of Sumy, causing damage to the Sumy State University building. It was also reported that the enemy attacked the Odesa region, damaging civilian infrastructure and residential houses.
As a result of the nighttime shelling on August 18-19, material damage was inflicted on buildings and infrastructure in Sumschyna, but there were no victims among the civilian population. The attacks by Russian troops on civilian objects highlight the seriousness of the situation in eastern Ukraine and the threat to the safety of the residents of the region.
