The Russian invaders are preparing for massive strikes
According to the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalienko, the Russian invaders are forming missile stockpiles for several massive strikes. He noted that Ukraine is aware of such a strategy of the enemy and is ready to respond.
Kovalienko also pointed out the informational scaling of the enemy's attack results. He expressed gratitude to the air defense for successfully destroying most airborne targets.
The strike of the Russian invaders
On November 17, the invaders under the leadership of Russia carried out a massive strike on Ukraine's energy system. President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that the enemy used various types of drones and missiles during the shelling. A total of approximately 120 missiles and 90 drones were launched. Zelensky also emphasized that the main target of the enemy was the energy infrastructure throughout the country.
The Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Herman Halushchenko, reported that the Russian terrorists are attacking energy system facilities across the country, resulting in emergency power outages.
Details of the shelling in Kyiv
As a result of the shelling in the Pechersk district of Kyiv, a residential building caught fire. An injured woman was hospitalized as a fragment of a UAV hit her apartment. Consequently, the wall and ceiling of the apartment were damaged.
