Eurostar plans to significantly improve its service by acquiring up to 50 new double-decker trains. The operator announced an investment of €2 billion (£1.7 billion) in trains that will be the first to operate through the Channel Tunnel and across the UK network.To date, Eurostar has confirmed an order for 30 double-decker trains, but this number may increase.
“We look forward to modernizing our fleet,” the statement said.
