Sudden warming is already near: meteorologists named the regions and key dates.
Meteorologists unexpectedly announced a change in weather for the next three days. The cold snap in the country will be replaced by warmth as air begins to flow in from Western Europe.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center confirmed this information in the forecast for the end of May and the beginning of June 2025.
During this period, the air temperature will rise, and precipitation will decrease. Rain is expected in the eastern part of the country due to atmospheric fronts, while in other areas, precipitation is not anticipated due to high atmospheric pressure.
This weekend will be cooler in the Carpathians, thunderstorms are possible in the east and southeast of the country. Night temperatures will range from 9 to 16 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperatures will be between 20 and 26 degrees.
According to meteorologists' forecasts, moderate precipitation is expected on Monday, mainly in the western part of the country, while the air temperature will remain stable, and the wind will be from the northwest or west.
It is also worth noting that on the following day, three regions of Ukraine are expected to have an increased risk of fires due to heat and dry winds.
Kiev will also see a reduction in precipitation, although it will be relatively cloudy. Night temperatures will be between 12 and 14 degrees, while daytime temperatures will range from 22 to 24 degrees.
Expected change in weather in the country
Meteorologists predict that the coming days will bring changes in the weather in Ukraine: a decrease in precipitation and an increase in temperature. The highest fire hazard is expected in the eastern part of the country.
