Civilian Casualties and Damage Reported After Russian Assault
According to Novyny.live: A Russian attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region on February 4 resulted in civilian deaths and injuries. A 68-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man were killed. Two other individuals, a 47-year-old woman and a 63-year-old man, sustained moderate injuries and were hospitalized. This attack is part of Russia's ongoing campaign of long-range strikes against Ukrainian regions far from the front lines.
Attack Details and Impact
The assault occurred overnight, targeting the Nikopol district, including the communities of Nikopol, Marhanets, Myrove, and Chervonohryhorivka. The hostile bombardment damaged three private homes, one of which was completely destroyed. Outbuildings, vehicles, and a non-operational administrative building were also damaged, and a power line was struck.
Russian forces employed FPV drones and 'Grad' multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). On the night of the attack, Russian troops launched over 100 drones across Ukraine, as reported by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head, Oleksandr Ganja, on Telegram.
