The city's mayor, Borys Karpus, stated that the situation is currently under control. In the aftermath of the strike, two secondary schools in Novovolynsk, specifically Lyceums No. 2 and No. 7, have shifted to remote learning. Furthermore, Kindergartens No. 6 and No. 7 are not accepting children due to the attack. Mayor Karpus reported that the city's water supply is functioning via the electrical grid, while sewage treatment plants are operating on backup generators.
