According to UATV: On July 1st, around 3:00 PM local time, Russian forces struck Kharkiv with seven guided aerial bombs. The assault killed a 15-year-old teenager and injured 32 people, including three children—one of whom was just a year old. This tragic event highlights the ongoing danger faced by civilians in Ukraine's second-largest city.

The bombardment hit the Kyivskyi, Osnovianskyi, and Novobavarskyi districts, causing extensive damage. At least four private homes and one administrative building were destroyed or damaged. Authorities updated the incident report as of 6:00 PM that evening.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed the rising toll, stating that

“the number of wounded has increased to 32 people.”
