Kramatorsk Targeted in Aerial Bombardment
According to UATV: Russian forces attacked the city of Kramatorsk on March 7 using a 1.5-ton aerial bomb. The assault injured at least five people, including children, and damaged 12 apartment buildings along with an administrative structure. This eastern Ukrainian city has been a repeated target since the full-scale invasion began.
This latest strike followed a prior series of bombardments on Kramatorsk, which involved four separate attacks. Those earlier assaults killed one man and damaged two private houses, a shop, and an infrastructure facility. In total, Russian troops have employed 509 different means of aerial attack in the region, according to available data.
Ongoing Crisis in Kramatorsk
The situation in Kramatorsk remains tense, with local authorities continuing to provide aid to victims of the recent attacks. These events are part of a wider escalation of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, where Russian forces persistently target civilian areas.
The bombardment of Kramatorsk underscores the severe humanitarian crisis facing residents of affected districts and highlights the critical need for international support to assist war victims. While local authorities are working to provide necessary aid, the persistent military activity makes the situation extremely challenging for the civilian population.
