Strike on Slavutych and the consequences of the attack
On October 1, the enemy also struck Slavutych. The checkpoint of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant was destroyed, leading to a power outage for about 20 thousand local residents. Fortunately, there are no casualties among the population.
President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that the attack on the energy substation in Slavutych caused a blackout that lasted for more than three hours at the Chernobyl facilities. This attack aimed to paralyze the operation of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
