The attack by Russian troops on important infrastructure and residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia occurred overnight from May 31 to June 1. According to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov, as a result of the attack, one woman was injured and is receiving medical assistance. An administrative building was also partially destroyed, and a fire broke out on the site.
Fedorov reported that the enemy used at least seven 'shahids' to carry out the attack. In addition to important infrastructure, private homes were also damaged. Government officials also reported that ten Russian soldiers were captured by Ukrainian forces while trying to seize settlements in the Sumy region. These Russian soldiers will be exchanged for Ukrainian fighters in Russian captivity.
