According to TSN.ua: In a nighttime assault, Russian forces struck railway infrastructure across several Ukrainian regions, damaging two locomotives. Despite the attack, train services continued to operate. The strikes targeted the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions. The attacks resulted in civilian casualties; a woman and a child were hospitalized in Kyiv, while 15 people, including 4 children, were injured in the Kyiv region. One fatality was confirmed. These attacks are part of a sustained Russian campaign to degrade Ukraine's critical infrastructure, which has intensified in recent months.
Russian forces launched a combined barrage of 50 missiles and 297 drones against Ukraine. Ukrainian air defenses successfully intercepted 33 of the missiles and 274 of the drones. The primary targets of the enemy attacks included:
- Kyiv region
- Odesa region
- Kirovohrad region
- Poltava region
The enemy targeted railway infrastructure in the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions. Two locomotives were damaged. Train movement was not halted. Relevant services and repair crews are already working to address the consequences of the attacks.
