Russia Continues Attacks on Energy Facilities in Ukraine

According to inkorr.com: Svitlana Hrynchuk, the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, reported that Russia has intensified attacks on energy facilities in border regions. This leads to a significant drop in temperature and frequent power supply interruptions.

In particular, the Ukrainian gas infrastructure has come under fire. This makes it especially important to receive assistance from partners to restore and strengthen the protection of this infrastructure. It is also necessary to prepare additional gas reserves for the winter period. Hrynchuk thanked allies for their contribution to supporting Ukraine.

'The supply of additional air defense systems to protect critical infrastructure, additional financial resources, assistance in the rapid search, delivery, and installation of equipment that can functionally replace the damaged, are among our priorities,'
Hrynchuk noted.

At a meeting with leaders of the G7+ group, the Minister of Energy expressed concern over numerous attacks on energy facilities and called for a united effort to protect infrastructure and ensure energy security in Ukraine.

The situation in the Ukrainian energy sector remains tense, and the continuation of attacks by Russia only complicates its recovery. The importance of partner support, as emphasized by Hrynchuk, is critical for maintaining energy stability in the country, especially during the winter period, when energy demand rises.
