According to TSN.ua: Military expert Ivan Tymochko has warned of the danger posed by Russian intelligence services, specifically the FSB and GRU, who are training a network of professional assassins to carry out sabotage and murders in Ukraine and Moldova. He made these remarks during an interview with the Kyiv 24 TV channel. This development highlights the Kremlin's continued use of covert, destabilizing tactics beyond the conventional battlefield.

Law Enforcement Operations

Ukrainian authorities have already conducted successful counter-operations. One such mission, codenamed "Enigma 2.0," led to the neutralization of an agent-combat group that was planning high-profile contract killings within the country. As a result of this operation, seven individuals were detained in Ukraine and three in Moldova.

Tymochko emphasized that the adversary centrally selects individuals with specific training for these assassin roles. He further noted that through these assassination attempts and acts of sabotage, Russia aims to simultaneously strike at Ukraine and project an image of control over the situation in a neighboring state.
