Russian drones attacked Ukraine
Russian forces attacked Ukraine with drones on the night of June 9, triggering an air raid alert in various parts of the country. The first drones appeared at 19:43 over Sumy region and moved towards Chernihiv region.
A group of drones coming from the southern direction towards Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions was also detected. Over three hours, enemy drones were recorded flying over nine regions of Ukraine. At 22:45, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv due to the threat of strike drones.
President Zelensky urged Ukrainians to respond to the sirens and advised them to take care of themselves and Ukraine. He also reminded about the shelling of Kharkiv, which resulted in injuries to over 40 people. Zelensky called these attacks terrorist and urged to force Russia to peace.
