Did Russia Attempt to Attack Khmelnytskyi NPP? 'Energoatom' Provided Details.
On the night of September 22, there was another drone flyby near the industrial site of the Khmelnytskyi NPP. It was an attempt to simulate an attack on the nuclear facility by allies. This was reported by representatives of «Energoatom».
«The flight trajectory indicates that Russia likely attempted to simulate an attack directly on the NPP by sharply deviating from the initial trajectory, approaching the site, and then returning to the original trajectory», the report says.
«Energoatom» points out that Russia continues to escalate the threat to Ukrainian nuclear facilities, deliberately risking the safety of NPPs and intensifying energy terror.
«Russians are raising the stakes, systematically creating tension at nuclear facilities. These actions must stop as the consequences could be fatal», emphasized the head of «Energoatom» Petro Kotin.
Recall that on the night of September 20, Russia attacked the Khmelnytskyi region using drones. An enemy drone approached the Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plant but caused no damage.
