Zaporizhzhia Comes Under Attack
According to UATV: On February 3, the Russian military targeted a residential area in Zaporizhzhia, resulting in the deaths of two individuals: an 18-year-old young man and a young woman. The attack also left eight people wounded, three of whom were children. This assault is part of a wider pattern of strikes on Ukrainian cities that has intensified in recent months.
The bombardment damaged a multi-story residential building, several shops, and multiple vehicles. An air raid alert remained in effect for 23 hours in Zaporizhzhia, underscoring the prolonged threat to the city's residents. During the overnight assault on February 3, Russian forces deployed a significant arsenal, including:
- four 'Zircon'/'Onyx' missiles
- 32 'Iskander-M' or S-300 ballistic missiles
- seven Kh-22/Kh-32 cruise missiles
- 28 Kh-101/'Iskander-K' cruise missiles
- 450 attack drones
This strike represents another tragic chapter in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, which has now entered its third year.
