Russia occupied a settlement in the Donetsk region.
The Russian army occupied Novosadove in the Donetsk region, experts from the DeepState resource report.
Also, the enemies continue to move forward in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Kherson regions.
“The enemy occupied Novosadove and advanced into Kruglyakivka, near Bohoyavlenka, Zoryane, Selydove, and Novodmytrivka”, the statement notes.
Russian troops plan to advance on Zaporizhzhia as the next step. The source claims that Russia may have already regained control over half of the territories that Ukraine liberated in the Kursk region in August 2024. This was the only significant movement of Ukrainian forces following the counteroffensive in 2023, analysts emphasize.
Recently, Russian troops resumed the offensive in the border zone between the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, achieving some tactical successes. However, these actions do not yet appear to be part of broader offensive operations.
