Using the Crimean Bridge for fuel delivery
Russian forces have begun using the Crimean Bridge to deliver fuel to the peninsula due to a critical shortage of this resource. This information was reported by the Ukrainian Navy. Spokesman, Captain 3rd rank Dmytro Pletenchuk, confirmed this during a telethon broadcast.“The Russians are indeed facing difficulties. Recently, there was even information circulating, which I cannot confirm yet, but about them starting to use the bridge, the so-called Crimean Bridge, for the purpose of transporting fuel to Crimea,” Pletenchuk said.
Critical situation on the peninsula
The problem with fuel has become particularly acute due to the halt of railway communication in the occupied territories, leading to serious difficulties in fuel supply. In addition, the occupiers are facing problems in providing water. Tension is observed in the maritime zone: Russian aviation is actively conducting counter-drone warfare and reconnaissance. Against this backdrop, the situation on the peninsula is only escalating. The fuel shortage and problems with water supply are becoming serious challenges for the occupation administration, which may impact future decisions regarding the management of the region. The situation requires careful monitoring, as the lack of resources may lead to new crises.Read also
