Russia continues terror through strikes on Ukraine: the aim is to break the will of the civilian population.
Pressure on the civilian population
According to ТСН: The main goal of Russia's massive attacks on Ukraine is to pressure civilians, and this tactic, unfortunately, will continue. This opinion was expressed by military expert Oleg Zhdanov.
"The goal is the same. It remains unchanged. It is pressure on society, shaping public opinion. If our state does not want to engage in this, our enemy does. Just look out the window, what is the weather like? Imagine what is happening in apartments, in houses that have no heating, no water, no electricity. So Putin, however bitter it may sound, has successfully saddled a horse and, unfortunately, will apply more pressure. The further it goes, the stronger it becomes. He has enough missiles, and aviation is still flying. We are still waiting for the strategic aviation of the Russian Federation to be grounded. They have even modernized the Tu-160 for new X-101 missiles. It was not part of the standard list of Tu-160. Now the Tu-160 is already launching these missiles," said Oleg Zhdanov.
Kremlin's Strategy
The expert also emphasizes that the Kremlin is implementing its strategy through constant pressure. Russia is trying to carry out a plan to eliminate Ukraine as a state and Ukrainians as a nation, regardless of losses:
"As long as the people do not take to the streets and say that is enough, sign whatever you have, just end the war. That's all. And then he saves on tanks but wins. This is the strategy. What we lack neither in the leadership of the Armed Forces nor in the government is strategy. We still do not have a strategic defense plan for the country. We live in the present day. And the Russian Federation is trying, in cruel ways, regardless of losses, to push through its strategic line - the liquidation of Ukraine as a state, the liquidation of Ukrainians as a nation."
These comments by Oleg Zhdanov reflect the intensifying situation in Ukraine and indicate the critical need for strategic planning from the Ukrainian authorities. The country is currently under serious pressure, and the question of Ukraine's survival as a state and nation is becoming increasingly urgent. The situation requires unity and decisive actions from both society and leadership to strengthen defense capabilities and counter threats from Russia. The raised issues of strategic planning become the groundwork for discussions in society about ways out of the crisis.
