Russia attacked Kyiv region at night: damaged houses and emergency power outages implemented

According to ТСН: Last night, Russia again launched an **attack** on the Kyiv region, striking peaceful communities, residential buildings, and critical infrastructure facilities.

According to preliminary reports, damage to residential and agricultural structures has been recorded in three districts of the region.

“Fortunately, according to preliminary information, there were no fatalities or injuries,” the authorities claim.

Consequences of the attack

  • Vyshhorod district: as a result of the hostile strike, a fire broke out in a private residential building.

  • Brovary district: three private houses were damaged (windows shattered, facades damaged), a car, and a temporary structure.

  • Fastiv district: a utility building caught fire.

  • Rescuers, energy workers, communal and emergency services are working on site. They are eliminating the aftermath of the attack, documenting the damage, and providing assistance to residents.

Critically important facilities in the Kyiv region have been switched to alternative power sources and continue to operate.

Meanwhile, due to the consequences of the attack, emergency power outages have been implemented in part of the Bucha district. Emergency shutdowns are also ongoing in the Brovary and Boryspil districts, while stabilization schedules are in effect in other areas of the region.

“Unbreakable Points” are operational in the region, where people can warm up, charge their phones, and receive necessary assistance.

Residents who have electricity are asked to use it sparingly to expedite the stabilization of the energy system and restoration of power.

We remind you that after the Russian attack, Irpin in the Kyiv region was left without electricity.

Irpin has been completely de-energized since the night of January 12 due to a massive rocket-drone attack by Russia.

“I appeal to all heads of critical services: we are working in an enhanced mode! SES, water supply, medicine, and other services,” emphasized Mayor Markushyn.

This attack once again confirms the tense situation in the region, creating additional difficulties for residents. Focusing on ensuring safety and maintaining the livelihoods of communities, local authorities are intensifying efforts to respond quickly to the consequences of hostile actions. Citizens must be ready for possible emergency situations and conserve their energy resources to help maintain stability in difficult times.
