Russia has captured another settlement in Sumy region – DeepState.
According to DeepState, Russian troops have taken control of another village in the Sumy region - Volodymyrivka. This information is reported by 'Glavkom'.
The DeepState Telegram channel published data that the village of Volodymyrivka was captured by enemy forces. Currently, there is no official confirmation of this information.
Escalation of the situation in the region
Earlier, the analytical project DeepState reported on the offensive of Russian troops in the area of the village of Oleksandriya in the Sumy region.
Currently, part of the territory near the village of Oleksandriya is already considered occupied, while another part is regarded as a 'gray zone'.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky previously pointed out that Russian occupiers in the Sumy direction are preparing for an offensive. According to him, more than 50,000 Russians are currently concentrated in this area.
Additionally, Ukrainian paratroopers captured ten Russian soldiers in Kursk and Sumy regions who tried to occupy settlements in Sumy Oblast.
