Russia deploys a novel drone with LTE connectivity: What is known about it.
Russia is actively using a new drone with high-speed Wi-Fi on various fronts. According to information from Ukrainian intelligence, this drone can be used for both reconnaissance and offensive actions, as well as a decoy to mislead air defense.
According to reconnaissance data, the new modification of the drone is equipped with a camera and modems to transmit real-time videos over mobile base stations, as well as to receive commands for route adjustments. The attack version of this drone can be used to direct targets via FPV. Furthermore, it has been noted that practically half of the spare parts for this drone are manufactured in China.
We remind you that the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported that Ukrainian helicopters shot down over 3,200 Russian UAVs of the 'Shahed' type last year.
