Russia has changed its strike tactics: why Putin is destroying railway stations.
According to ТСН: The Russian occupation forces have changed their tactics of airstrikes on Ukraine, indicating an increase in the degree of escalation of the conflict from the Kremlin.
According to a military expert, enemy rockets and drones attacked the city of Fastiv in Kyiv Oblast en masse for three consecutive days, completely destroying its railway station.
Signals of escalation
The expert notes that this step indicates Putin's desire for "more blood, more deaths" and signifies a violation of unknown "taboos" that previously existed between the conflicting parties.
The military expert explains the enemy's logic:
“Until now, there were certain taboos for both sides. Ukraine and Russia exchanged strikes, but there were targets we did not hit, and they did not hit us. It is worth noting that the Russians have already struck electrical substations of Ukrainian stations in 2022 and 2023.”
The purpose of the attacks
The main goal of such strikes is to disrupt logistics and make rapid transportation impossible.
“This was done so that we could not timely transport military cargo from the west to the east of the country,” concluded Romanenko.
The attack on railway infrastructure in Fastiv, a key railway hub, may be part of a new strategy by the enemy aimed at systematically destroying logistical routes.
Such attacks highlight the growing tension in the military conflict and Russia's attempts to weaken the Ukrainian defense through targeting critical infrastructure. The struggle for control over logistical routes is strategically important for both sides, as it ensures the timely delivery of resources and valuable cargo.
