Russia attacked Ukraine's energy system: which regions have power outages.
Attack by Russian terrorists on the energy infrastructure of Chernihiv and Donetsk regions
According to inkorr.com: The actions of the Russian terrorist army have led to shelling that caused serious damage to Ukraine's unified energy system. The Ministry of Energy reported that all necessary measures are being taken to restore power supply and maintain system stability, according to information from Glavkom.
Forced emergency outages in Ukraine
Due to attacks by Russian terrorists, emergency power outages were implemented early in the morning in the following regions: Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, and partially in Kirovohrad. In Chernihiv region, local energy workers also took measures for scheduled outages.
“Emergency outages will be canceled after the situation in the energy system stabilizes. Please follow announcements on the websites of your regional energy companies. We urge consumers to use electricity wisely, especially during peak hours in the morning and evening. This will help reduce the load on the system.”
Emergency power outages have also been recorded in other regions, including Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Poltava, Kirovohrad, and Sumy, as a result of the attacks. A similar situation was observed in Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions.
Damage from attacks on energy infrastructure
Let us remind you that on the night of October 12, the enemy attacked energy and gas transportation infrastructure facilities, causing damage in three regions. As a result of shelling, energy facilities in Donetsk, Odesa, and Chernihiv were affected.
Russian terrorists have once again attacked the critically important energy infrastructure of several regions of Ukraine, leading to forced emergency power outages. Specialists from the Ministry of Energy continue to work on restoring the system and urge consumers to use electricity sparingly.
Despite the difficult situation, energy workers are doing everything possible to ensure the restoration of power supply. It is important for consumers to follow recommendations and save electricity during peak times. Military operations continue to negatively impact energy infrastructure, but Ukrainians are demonstrating resilience and readiness to overcome difficulties.Read also
