Russian Strike on Kryvyi Rih Injures Five, Including Toddler.
Kryvyi Rih Targeted in Attack
According to Novyny.live: On January 22, a Russian attack struck the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih, injuring five civilians. Among the wounded is a one-and-a-half-year-old boy, who is currently in serious but stable condition under medical supervision. The assault also injured a 55-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman. A two-story apartment building sustained significant damage in the strike. According to local official Oleksandr Ganzha, two other injured residents are expected to recover at home.
Conflict's Humanitarian Toll
This incident is part of the wider, ongoing war in Ukraine, highlighting the persistent hostilities in government-controlled territory. The targeting of civilian areas and the resulting casualties, particularly children, underscore the severe humanitarian consequences of a conflict that continues to impact non-combatants. Kryvyi Rih, a major industrial city in central Ukraine, has been a repeated target since the full-scale invasion began. Events like this are likely to prompt further international condemnation and discussions on regional security.
