Russian Strike on Kherson Medical Vehicle Kills Nurse.
Assault on Kherson and the Kherson Region
According to Novyny.live: On February 4, Russian forces launched an attack on Kherson and the surrounding region, resulting in the death of a nurse and leaving others wounded. The assault targeted a medical service vehicle around 9:45 AM in the village of Oleksandrivka. The nurse who was killed, born in 1974, worked at a local paramedic station. These attacks are part of a wider pattern of strikes on civilian infrastructure in southern Ukraine.
Local official Oleksandr Prokudin confirmed that Russian troops killed the medical worker in Oleksandrivka, part of the Stanislav community. The nurse sustained fatal injuries from a strike by a Russian FPV drone. Additionally, a 38-year-old man suffered injuries from artillery shelling in the same attack that were incompatible with life.
Attack on the Dnipropetrovsk Region
Furthermore, Russian occupying forces attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region during the night of February 3-4. These incidents underscore the ongoing Russian aggression, which continues to impact civilian populations and medical facilities across Ukraine.
These assaults highlight the severe dangers faced by medical personnel providing aid in a warzone. The nurse's death is another tragic illustration of the conflict's toll on civilians. The increasing frequency of attacks on medical facilities and staff raises profound concerns for the safety of healthcare workers who persist in their duties under perilous conditions.
