Russians are pulling reserves to Zaporizhia: General assessed the threat to the city.
Russia is preparing for combat operations in Zaporizhia
Zaporizhia has already been hit several times by Russian KABs, and it seems this is no coincidence. Experts suggest that Russia plans to conduct an operation against this city. Now the enemy has new capabilities - modernized guided aerial bombs capable of attacking from a distance of up to 100 kilometers, said Ihor Romanenko, Lieutenant General, former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on Radio NV.
The general also noted that Ukrainian and foreign intelligence services are recording the pulling of additional enemy resources near Zaporizhia. This indicates a possible start of more intensive combat operations in this direction.
It was previously reported that Russian troops are preparing to storm Zaporizhia.
On September 29, an attack was carried out against Zaporizhia, resulting in damage to residential buildings. The train routes near the city were changed due to this attack.
Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, responded to this event by demanding more weapons for Ukraine. He also noted that it is necessary to create conditions under which the economic downfall of the Russian Federation would affect their ability to maintain the military-industrial complex.
