Attacks Reported in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and Kharkiv

According to UATV: Russian forces launched strikes on Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region and the city of Kharkiv, injuring three civilians and causing significant damage. The assault on Dnipropetrovsk Oblast targeted three separate districts, resulting in destruction and fires. These attacks are part of the ongoing, full-scale invasion of Ukraine that began in February 2022. The casualties are as follows:

  • A 42-year-old man was wounded in the Nikopol district.
  • A 48-year-old woman sustained injuries in the Bohdanivka community of the Pavlohrad district.
  • An 87-year-old woman was injured in the Synelnykove district.

Separately, a missile strike hit Kharkiv, shattering windows in several multi-story residential buildings. According to Ukraine's State Emergency Service, the attack caused destruction and casualties. Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed the damage to the apartment blocks.

Regional Conditions Remain Tense

The situation in these regions is highly volatile as the full consequences of the attacks are still being assessed. Local authorities have urged residents to exercise caution and follow safety protocols.

These strikes underscore the continued intensity of military operations across Ukraine. While the Ukrainian government is implementing measures to protect civilians, the overall security environment remains challenging. Communities are striving to restore normalcy, but widespread damage to infrastructure and the persistent threat of further assaults continue to pose severe risks to the civilian population.
