Russian Strike on Kherson Minibus Kills Driver, Injures Five.
Attack Targets Kherson's Korabelny District
According to UATV: On January 30, 2023, Russian occupying forces struck the Korabelny district of Kherson. The attack killed a 48-year-old minibus driver and injured five passengers. Two of the wounded are in serious condition, while the others sustained moderately severe injuries. Kherson, a key southern Ukrainian city, has endured frequent shelling since its liberation by Ukrainian forces in late 2022.
The strike directly hit the public transport vehicle while it was operating in the district. Additionally, the blast from the impact shattered windows and damaged balconies in two nearby apartment buildings.
“As a result of the enemy shelling, the 48-year-old driver of the vehicle died at the scene. Five more passengers suffered blast injuries and shrapnel wounds. Two individuals are in serious condition, the others are moderately injured.”
