The spy group in Odesa region exposed: how FSB agents collected data for attacks.
Four residents of the Odesa region were handing over information to Russian special services about the movements of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and helped adjust attacks. However, the agents were caught in the act and detained, facing life imprisonment.
This was reported by the Odesa regional prosecutor's office.
Details of the case
The figures were preparing for the FSB the coordinates of weapons, ammunition, and equipment storage sites, as well as searching for geolocations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces air defense units to adjust attacks bypassing air defense.
According to the investigation, the organizer of the Russian agency was a guard of a local martial arts school. For remote recruitment, the Russian special services involved his acquaintance from Crimea, who collaborated with them and was close to the former people's deputy Igor Markov.
The school guard formed his own group of informants, which included his friends: a coach of a sports section, a taxi driver, and his wife – a saleswoman in a local store.
What punishment awaits
The figures have been informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 and Part 2 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (state treason and unauthorized dissemination of information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine). Thus, they face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Recall that recently we wrote about an Odesa resident who cooperated with the FSB, as well as about a guy who blew up a car with a person inside.
The submitted text has a lively style, is easy to read, and lacks unnecessary formal or artificial phrases.
