Russian saboteurs attempted to cross the Dnipro near the Antonivskyi Bridge.
The occupying armed forces tried to cross the river near the Antonivskyi Bridge, but suffered losses. This was reported by the spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, Vladislav Voloshin, in an interview on 'We-Ukraine'.
According to Voloshin, the attack was not anything special, as the Russians attempt to capture the islands on the Dnipro or even a foothold on the right bank every day.
'Yesterday the enemy increased the number of artillery shelling, began to fire from the MLRS, from large-caliber artillery at Kherson and its outskirts. And during this artillery shelling, they attempted to cross in a small group in the area of the Antonivskyi Bridge. However, the Defense Forces acted preemptively - some enemy means did not manage to deploy and remained at their concentration points,' Voloshin reported.
He also added that the Russians launched massive attacks on Kherson. There are casualties and injured, as well as destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure.
Earlier, a Russian sabotage group attempted to break through the border in the Kharkiv region.
