According to UATV: On March 24, Russian drones struck the western Ukrainian city of Lviv, leaving 22 civilians injured and damaging residential buildings along with a nationally significant architectural monument—the 'Prison on Lontskoho' museum. This attack caused severe consequences for local residents, who found themselves in immediate danger.

According to reports at the time of recording, 13 people were hospitalized, while the total number seeking medical assistance reached 22. A nine-story apartment building in the Sykhiv district was hit and now requires urgent repairs. Authorities confirmed that 17 units in that building are uninhabitable and need to be evacuated, demanding swift action from local emergency services.

City Officials and Eyewitnesses Respond

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi stated: 'As of now, 17 apartments require relocation. We are currently helping people find shelter so they can spend the night in safety. Rescue workers continue to extinguish the fire.'

Eyewitnesses also shared their experiences:

“Everything was blown out. We were so scared we just threw on our clothes. No one expected this to happen” - Nataliia.

The situation remains tense as local services continue working to clear the aftermath and provide aid to those affected.

This attack underscores the escalating crisis in Ukraine, where civilian infrastructure has increasingly become a target of military operations.
