According to inkorr.com: On August 26, Tuesday, Russian forces attacked Kherson using a strike drone that hit a residential building in the Central district of the city. According to the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration Oleksandr Prokudin, two women were injured as a result of this incident.

As a result of the strike, several apartments were damaged. Two women, born in 1959 and 1962, who were at home, sustained injuries. They were diagnosed with blast injuries, concussions, and shrapnel wounds.

Condition of the injured and consequences for Trostyanets

The condition of one of the women is moderate, while the other is in serious condition. Both injured have been hospitalized and are receiving necessary medical assistance.

It is also worth noting that in Trostyanets, in the Sumy region, as a result of a Russian missile strike, about a hundred residents of the city were left without water supply, as the water intake was destroyed. This was reported by the city mayor Yuriy Bova.

Thus, the attack by the Russian drone in Kherson resulted in the injuries of two women, and in Trostyanets, hundreds of residents were left without water due to damage to the water intake. All the injured are receiving medical assistance and support from the authorities.

The Russian military actions continue to have serious consequences for the civilian population in Ukraine. Attacks on residential areas and infrastructure lead to an increase in the number of injuries and casualties, as well as to the disruption of basic needs of the population, such as access to water. Active efforts by local authorities and medical institutions are aimed at supporting the victims and restoring necessary services.
