Russian court ordered Yanukovych's mistress to pay debts.
The Arbitration Court of the Krasnodar Territory has collected a debt from Lyubov Polezhai
In December 2024, the Arbitration Court of the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation issued a decision to collect from the cohabitant Lyubov Polezhai the overdue and penalties. This debt arose from a municipal land lease agreement in Sochi. The court's decision amounts to nearly 131 thousand rubles and 36 thousand rubles respectively.
On February 11, 2025, this same court closed another proceeding regarding the financial obligations of Lyubov Sadikova. In this case, the company «Krasnodarzoovetsnab» demanded the collection of debt and penalties. However, the case was terminated after the representative of the plaintiff refused their claims.
It was previously reported that in 2021, the capital court released Lyubov Polezhai's property from arrest, which had been seized as part of criminal proceedings. The court also confirmed that the property belongs to her, not her husband. In December 2022, the High Anti-Corruption Court partially granted the claim of the Ministry of Justice for the collection of the assets of former president Viktor Yanukovych and his close associates in favor of the state.
Thus, the court continues to consider cases related to the property of Lyubov Polezhai, which is under arrest.
