Passenger's Death on Cruise Declared a Murder
The death of a passenger on a cruise ship has become the subject of an investigation after being declared a murder. In a lawsuit filed by the family of 35-year-old Michael Virgil, it is stated that the man was served 33 alcoholic beverages at the ship's bar, Navigator of the Seas.After such excessive alcohol consumption, during the escalation of events, he was allegedly restrained. Ship owners and bar staff have become defendants in this case.“We believe it is absolutely unacceptable when such things happen to passengers,” said the Virgil family.The victims emphasize that excessive alcohol consumption without proper staff control can lead to tragic consequences.The investigation is ongoing, and the evidence gathered during the internal investigation will be thoroughly examined. In Ukraine, the issue of safety on cruise liners is also actively discussed, drawing attention to the service provided to passengers consuming alcohol.The situation with Michael Virgil has drawn attention to the problem of controlling alcohol consumption on cruise ships.
