They were turned back at the border. Reshetnik's wife explained why she and the children were not allowed into Poland.

Hryhoriy Reshetnik's wife, Khrystyna, reported that she was not allowed into Poland due to new border crossing rules. She shared this story on her Instagram.
The woman was traveling in her own car. To enter Poland, it is necessary to obtain a 'green card'. Khrystyna did everything according to the usual procedure, but she did not know that new rules came into effect on January 1, 2025. Previously, the 'green card' could be obtained on the day of departure, but now it must be done in advance.
The woman improperly prepared the documents required for entry, and the Poles did not let her cross the border. Khrystyna waited for two hours at the Ukrainian border and crossed again after midnight when the 'green card' was already valid.
The woman warned about the new rules for obtaining the 'green card' and urged to obtain it in advance, at least a day beforehand.
Hryhoriy Reshetnik congratulated his son on his birthday and gave him a football and a jersey.
