Ryanair launches new flights from Birmingham to Rome: route details.
New Ryanair route from Birmingham to Rome
According to The Sun: Ryanair has announced a new route from Birmingham to Rome - the famous Italian city that attracts travelers with its history and delicious cuisine.
While many airlines are cutting flights to Spain, this new destination will remain in operation and allow travelers to reach Rome, which will become a favorite place for those who appreciate culture and gastronomy.
AlamyFlights will operate from Birmingham Airport to Rome Ciampino Airport three times a week, starting next month.
Ciampino Airport is located on the outskirts of the Italian capital, making it convenient for travel to the city itself.
Flights will start on October 26, 2025, with a schedule on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
According to Sun Travel, one-way tickets can be found on Skyscanner from £32.
Rome in the autumn
Many people believe that Rome is only a summer destination, but the mild autumn temperatures allow tourists to enjoy the city without the heat. In October, temperatures can reach 23°C, and in December an average of 13°C, which is warmer than in the UK.
Exploring famous sights such as the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Sistine Chapel becomes more pleasant in cool weather.
New routes
In addition to this new route, Ryanair plans four more new flights from London Stansted, one of which leads to Trapani in Italy, on the island of Sicily. Here you can visit ancient salt lakes, beaches, and picturesque old towns.
Flights to Trapani will start on October 27 and will operate twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays.

Flights to Münster from London Stansted will begin on November 3, operating three times a week.

Ryanair has also announced new flights between Stansted and Murcia in Spain, as well as between Luton and Wrocław in Poland.
According to recent comments from a journalist, Wrocław is called “one of the best-kept secrets of European city breaks.”
Don't forget that the Christmas market in Wrocław is one of the largest in Poland.
Moreover, the airline has introduced new rules that allow passengers to take larger bags on board for free.
Ryanair's new routes open up additional opportunities for travelers looking to explore new cities in Europe. In particular, autumn is a wonderful time to visit Rome and other European destinations, as the weather becomes more comfortable and the tourist crowds diminish. This allows for a better enjoyment of the beauty of the architecture and an immersion in the atmosphere of cities on the continent.
