Ukrainian fraudsters are exploiting the war in the country as an opportunity to deceive citizens. They publish ads about new payments, request bank card details, and withdraw money from accounts. Fortunately, financial institutions like Oschadbank do everything possible to protect clients from fraudsters.
Oschadbank offers clients the service 'Insurance of payment cards against fraud' under two plans: basic (15 hryvnias per month) and extended (25 hryvnias per month).
How to protect accounts at Oschadbank
- The basic plan includes coverage against online fraud, loss of card, and deceptive fraud. The payout limit is up to 30 thousand hryvnias.
- The extended plan provides protection of up to 50 thousand hryvnias per case, except for card loss.
Oschadbank clients may also face account blocking, but the financial institution explains how to regain access. The bank has also updated its 'Oschad 24/7' application, which allows convenient online account management.
